For almost 6 decades, Robinson Trenching has been installing underground power, communications, water, and sewer in Indiana and the Midwest. As things have progressed, new ownership of 3rd Generation Robinson's, new safety requirements, new equipment, and a new outlook has changed the landscape of how underground utility work is performed here at Robinson Trenching. The groundwork and foundation of Robinson that made us what we are today is still deeply imbedded in the company with well over 150 years of experience in the office. In a snapshot since 2020, Robinson Trenching has been chosen to install conduit under major interstates, lakes, creeks, rivers, electrical sub stations, and many sensitive areas. We have installed hundreds of thousands of feet of electrical cable rehabilitation in neighborhoods, commercial and industrial business parks, and apartment complexes. We have buried numerous exit feeders out of substations. We have installed dozens of concrete encased duct packages. We have pushed large diameter steel casing under railroad tracks. We have hydro excavated thousands of feet and performed pot holing for all our own installation to complete this work in the safest manner possible. Our expertise in underground utility installation is something that we use our building blocks to shape but are constantly evolving to meet safety and industry standards.
